Great location right on the beach, with beach chairs and towels readily available. The pool and restaurant were also excellent. The room was older but nicely renovated. The only downside was a strong smell of cleaning products or possibly mildew, which was somewhat bothersome. We still gave the hotel 4 stars because of the excellent service and the flexibility of allowing us an early check-in and late check-out. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back!

Overall, this resort is spectacular and we would definitely return. The front desk staff were absolutely impeccable — every single one of the girls working there was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We had to request a room change because the room we were initially given didn't feel adequate for our kids, and the staff handled the switch perfectly and without any issue. The rooms themselves were very clean, with a kitchen and cooking utensils included. Everything was spotless. The restaurant on the 8th floor was excellent. Our one disappointment was the beach restaurant. We had an issue with the umbrellas — it was extremely hot and sunny with no wind at all, yet the staff kept closing the umbrellas anyway (even though there was no wind to justify it) and spoke to us rudely when we asked them to keep them open. We called the manager, who was respectful, but it still made no sense to leave us eating in direct sun, unable to even see each other's faces because the umbrella above the table was closed. On the plus side, the beach lounger service was very good. We're giving 5 stars because the hotel overall is excellent and we'd come back, especially for the front desk servi

We were very satisfied with the whole staff at Lido Beach Resort in Sarasota Florida. They the whole staff were very kind and helpful with all our concerns in making our experience at Lido Beach Resort a very relaxing vacation. The whole staff at the front desk made our accommodations very important and made sure they were all taken care of efficiently. The whole restaurant staff on the 8th floor of the Resort was very helpful in making all our breakfast experience relaxing. Our meals were prepared so nicely. The whole beach staff were very pleasant and helpful everyday in getting us comfortable with all our beach ⛱️ needs. There were always so many clean towels available for us everyday, with a very kind staff to pass them out to us. We also were so pleased with the cleanliness of all the bathrooms and all around the Lido Beach Resort. Our room 206 was kept up so nicely by the house keeping staff and were very happy with their efforts to make us happy with all our comforts. With the last day our flight with not leaving till 8:15 pm. We were so overwhelmed with the amazing kindness of the Lido Beach Resort Staff to allow us to use all the amenities until we were ready to leave to t

The first person we talked to besides the nice valet was Avery J. , she checked us in and gave us an upgrade room wise which was right next to the restaurant and gym/laundry floors which was convenient. Avery was exceptional. Jasmin let us check out late and was super responsive. Joel the manager*by the pool* was super friendly and informative, very kind. Tetyana and Tanner at the poolside with water and towels were also very very helpful and friendly. The rooms in the tower are great, you can tell it was an older resort in some door frames etc but the bathroom and kitchenette were redone well with tiles. Full frige, dining table, and microwave helped , and the bed was comfortable. The Drift is a fun restaurant w great views. The pool was great because there is an adult only side . Beach staff and service was also great. I would t pay more than ~$400 and ideally it's max at $300 for our king bed w kitchenette room but I did recommend this place even if you go just for the day or dinner at Drift* 8th floor restaurant
